SEBI Announces Grade A Recruitment



The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has opened applications for various Grade A roles. Candidates interested in these opportunities can submit their applications through SEBI's official website until November 28th, with the application process having commenced on October 30th. A total of 110 positions are available across different fields, including general, legal, and IT.


The breakdown of vacancies includes:



  • 56 positions in General

  • 20 positions in Legal

  • 22 positions in Information Technology

  • 4 positions in Research

  • 3 positions in Official Language

  • 5 positions in Engineering

Qualifications for SEBI Grade A Officer Positions

What Qualifications Are Required?


Candidates applying for general positions must hold a master's degree or a postgraduate diploma in any discipline, or possess a law degree. For legal roles, a law degree is mandatory, while engineering positions require a four-year degree in a relevant engineering field. Additionally, applicants must be under 30 years of age, specifically born on or after October 1, 1995.


Application Fee Details

What is the Application Fee?


The application fee is set at ₹1,000 for candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories. However, SC, ST, and differently-abled applicants are required to pay a reduced fee of ₹100.


Selection Process and Salary Information

How Will Selection Be Conducted?


The selection process will consist of three phases: an online screening exam with two papers of 100 marks each, followed by an online exam with two additional papers of 100 marks each, and finally, an interview. Candidates who perform well will advance to the next stages. The final selection will be based on the scores from both the exams and the interview.
