Application Deadline Extended: The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the reopening of applications for 63 Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO) roles. The new deadline for submitting applications is now set for October 15, 2025. Interested individuals can apply online by visiting the official SBI careers page.


Qualifications and Skills Required:
Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree along with an MBA, PGDBA, PGDM, MMS in Finance, CA, CFA, or ICWA. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of three years of relevant post-qualification experience.


Essential skills include proficiency in balance sheet preparation, credit proposal assessment, appraisal, and credit monitoring.


Age Criteria:
The age limit for candidates applying for these Specialist Officer roles ranges from 25 to 35 years. Relaxations are available for candidates from reserved categories:



  • 5 years for SC and ST candidates.


  • 3 years for OBC candidates.


  • 10 years for Persons with Disabilities.



Salary Structure:
Selected candidates will receive a competitive salary, with monthly earnings between ₹85,920 and ₹1,05,280.


Selection Process:
Candidates will be evaluated through a 100-mark interview conducted by SBI.


Application Fee:
The application fee is ₹750 for candidates belonging to General, OBC, and EWS categories. However, SC, ST, and PwD candidates are exempt from this fee.
