SBI Recruitment Update

The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced an extension for the application period concerning the recruitment of Specialist Officers (SO). The new deadline is set for October 15, 2025, allowing candidates who missed the initial application window another opportunity to apply.

SBI is looking to fill 122 Specialist Officer positions. Interested candidates can now submit their applications online.

Applicants must be between 25 and 35 years of age. However, there are provisions for age relaxation for candidates from reserved categories. Specifically, SC and ST candidates can enjoy a 5-year relaxation, OBC candidates a 3-year relaxation, and candidates with disabilities may receive up to a 10-year relaxation.

In terms of educational requirements, candidates should hold either a bachelor's or master's degree. Additionally, they should be adept at analyzing balance sheets, preparing appraisals, evaluating credit proposals, and monitoring credit.

The salary for the selected Specialist Officers will range from ₹85,920 to ₹1,05,280 per month, complemented by various perks and benefits, making this an appealing opportunity.

The selection process will consist solely of interviews, with candidates evaluated based on a 100-mark interview. There will be no written examination, and candidates' performance in the interview will solely determine their selection.

Candidates must also pay an application fee, which is ₹750 for General, OBC, and EWS categories. However, SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates are exempt from this fee. The application process is entirely online, and candidates should apply through SBI's official website, sbi.co.in.
