Railway Technician Recruitment 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a brief notification regarding the Technician Recruitment for 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 6,565 positions for Technician Grade I (Signal) and Technician Grade III roles within the railway sector. The online application process commenced today, June 30, and will remain open until July 29. Candidates interested in applying should ensure they complete their registration and application within this timeframe to avoid any last-minute complications. The recruitment will be conducted in three phases, with the initial phase being a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply:
To be eligible for the RRB Technician Recruitment 2026, candidates must have completed their 10th standard or SSLC examination. Furthermore, they should hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from an accredited institution. Candidates with an Act Apprenticeship certificate in the relevant trade are also qualified for several positions.


Age Requirements

Age Limit:
For the Technician Grade III position, applicants must be aged between 18 and 30 years. In contrast, the age limit for the Technician Grade I (Signal) role is set between 18 and 33 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for age relaxation in accordance with government policies.
