RITES Recruitment 2025: The Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) has announced an official recruitment notification for 252 apprentice roles. Eligible candidates are invited to submit their applications online, with the deadline set for December 5, 2025.


Available Positions

This recruitment drive will fill a total of 252 apprentice positions, categorized as follows:



  • Graduate Apprentices: 146 positions


  • Diploma Apprentices: 49 positions


  • Trade Apprentices (ITI pass): 57 positions



Eligibility Criteria

Graduate Apprentices: Applicants must hold a four-year full-time engineering degree (BE/B.Tech/B.Arch). Non-engineering graduates with degrees such as BA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, or BCA (three-year degree) are also eligible.


Diploma Apprentices: Candidates should possess a three-year full-time engineering diploma.


Trade Apprentices: ITI pass-outs are required for this category.


Selection Process

How Selection Works: Candidates will be shortlisted based on a merit list created from the percentage of marks obtained in their relevant qualifications.


No written tests or interviews will be conducted. In cases where applicants have identical scores, the older candidate will be prioritized in the merit list.


The minimum qualifying marks are set at 60% for General/EWS candidates and 50% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD candidates. Eligibility will be determined based on specified honors subjects or the aggregate of all subjects.


Stipend Information

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹14,000, depending on their apprenticeship category (graduate, diploma, or trade) and the respective department.
