UP NEET UG Counselling 2025: The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME) in Uttar Pradesh has announced the updated timeline for Round 2 of the UP NEET UG Counselling. The deadline for online registration for this round is set for September 18.


Key Dates to Remember:
The merit list for Round 2 will be published on September 18, allowing candidates to select their preferred college or course starting September 19. Only those who have completed the registration, document verification, and paid the security fees will be eligible to participate. The results for Round 2 seat allotment will be revealed on September 23, a change from the previously scheduled dates of September 15 and 19.


Additionally, DGME has issued a notice stating that candidates who accepted MBBS/BDS seats in Round 1 and wish to withdraw must do so in person at their designated nodal centers by September 17.

Online registration and document upload: September 10 to 18


Registration fee and security deposit: September 10 to 18


Merit list announcement: September 18


Choice filling period: September 19 to 22


Seat allotment results: September 23


Download allotment letter and admission reporting: September 25 to 27; September 29 to 30; and October 3, 2025


Seat Allotment Process:


As per the MCC guidelines, seat allocation for the NRI category will follow a priority system:


Priority 1 - The NRI candidate and their children.


Priority 2 - First and second-degree relatives of NRI candidates.


The allocation will occur in phases, starting with Priority 1 candidates, followed by those in Priority 2.
