New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission has commenced the registration process for the SSC Constable GD Examination 2026. Candidates interested in applying for the positions of Constable (GD) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles can find the direct link on the official SSC website.

Important Dates

The deadline for submitting applications is December 31, 2025. Candidates must complete online fee payment by January 1, 2026. A correction window will be available from January 8 to January 10, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have completed their matriculation or 10th grade from a recognized board/university by the cutoff date of January 1, 2026.

Selection Process

The recruitment process will include a Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination, and Document Verification. The PST/PET, Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/Review Medical Examination (RME), and Document Verification (DV) will be conducted by the CAPF.

Application Fee

The application fee is ₹100. However, female candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and eligible Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempt from paying this fee. Payment can only be made through online methods such as BHIM UPI, net banking, or debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay.
