Exam Schedule

Main Exam on June 7


According to the tentative schedule, the preliminary examination is set for April 11, while the main examination is expected to take place on June 7. These vacancies are distributed across various offices, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, and Thiruvananthapuram. The bank reserves the right to modify the number of vacancies based on its requirements.


Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply?


Applicants must be Indian citizens, or citizens of Nepal or Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, or individuals of Indian origin from specified countries intending to settle permanently in India, holding a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India. As of February 1, 2026, the age limit is set between 20 and 28 years, meaning candidates must be born between February 2, 1998, and February 1, 2006, inclusive.


Educational Qualifications

Minimum Academic Requirements


Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Persons with Disabilities, passing marks are sufficient. Additionally, applicants must have knowledge of word processing on computers and be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the local language of the state they are applying for. Ex-servicemen must have a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification after completing at least 15 years of defense service.

The selection will occur in three stages: the preliminary exam, the main exam, and a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The language test will be conducted in the official or local language of the state, and candidates who do not qualify in this test will be disqualified.
