Details of the Recruitment

The RBI's Guwahati office is looking to fill two pharmacist positions on a part-time and contractual basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with pharmacy experience to join a prestigious institution.


Selected candidates will be assigned to two locations in Guwahati: the RBI Main Office Complex on Station Road, Panbazar, and the RBI Officers Colony on GS Road, Christian Basti.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the RBI Pharmacist Recruitment 2026, candidates must have completed Matriculation (10th grade) and possess a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized institution. Those with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree are also eligible to apply.


Experience Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience as a pharmacist. Preference will be given to those who have worked in public sector banks, government undertakings, or other government institutions. Basic computer skills are also required for daily tasks.


Documents Needed

Applicants must include several essential documents with their application, such as proof of age, 10th-grade certificate, pharmacy-related educational qualifications, State Pharmacy Council registration, and an experience certificate.


If applicable, candidates from reserved categories should also submit a caste certificate. A recent passport-sized photograph must accompany the application, and only self-attested photocopies of all documents will be accepted.


Salary and Working Conditions

Selected pharmacists will receive a remuneration of ₹400 per hour, with a maximum of 5 working hours per day and a total of 30 hours per week.


The contract will last for a maximum of 240 days, and it is important to note that this position is temporary and does not guarantee permanent employment with the RBI.
