Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Syllabus and Exam Format

• The exam will be conducted offline with objective-type questions.


• The first paper will cover General Hindi for 200 marks.


• The second paper will focus on General Knowledge and General Science, also for 200 marks.


• There will be negative marking of one-third for incorrect answers.


• Each paper will have a duration of 2 hours.


• A minimum of 36% in each paper and 40% overall is required to qualify.


• Up to 20 times the number of vacancies will be called for the physical test.


• SC and ST candidates will receive a relaxation of up to 5 marks in each paper and overall.


• The physical efficiency test will be worth 100 marks.


• Candidates scoring at least 50% will be invited for the aptitude test and interview, up to three times the number of vacancies.


• The aptitude test and interview will total 50 marks.


• The merit list will be based on the written exam (400 marks), physical test (100 marks), and interview (50 marks).
