RSSB Recruitment Announcement

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has officially announced its first significant recruitment initiative for the year, aiming to fill 10,644 vacancies for Clerk Grade II and Junior Assistant roles. This recruitment drive is a promising opportunity for numerous young individuals in Rajasthan who have been eagerly seeking government employment. The notification also outlines the examination schedule.

Application Timeline

The online application process for this recruitment will commence on January 15th. According to the notification, the final date for submitting applications is February 13, 2026. This timeline provides candidates with about a month to complete their applications, which can be submitted through the official RSSB website.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have successfully qualified in the CET Senior Secondary-2024, totaling 9.17 lakh individuals, are eligible to apply. Their eligibility will remain valid until February 16, 2026, after which it will expire. Experts predict a high volume of applications due to this large pool of eligible candidates. The examination is set to take place on July 5th and 6th, 2026.

Previous Recruitment Notifications

This year, the board has already issued four recruitment notifications. Earlier announcements included 259 positions for Forest Guard, 1,100 for Agriculture Supervisor, and 72 for Women Supervisor. The application processes for these roles are still ongoing.

Examination Structure

The recruitment examination will be conducted in two phases. The first phase will include two papers, each lasting three hours and containing 150 questions worth 100 marks each. Candidates from the general category must achieve at least 40 percent in both papers, while reserved category candidates will receive a 5 percent relaxation. Only those who meet the minimum score will qualify for the typing test in the second phase.

Departmental Vacancies

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) will fill 6 Clerk Grade-II positions. The Administrative Reforms Department will oversee the recruitment of 9,806 Junior Assistant roles. Additionally, the Directorate of Agricultural Marketing will recruit 600 Junior Assistants, the Rajasthan State Agricultural Marketing Board will fill 98 positions, the Rajasthan Pollution Control Board will hire 50 candidates, and the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, will recruit 84 Clerk Grade-II positions.
