Candidates will receive notifications about their exam locations approximately ten days prior, and admit cards will be distributed four days before the test. Applications for this recruitment were accepted in October 2025. This role falls under Pay Level-6, offering a starting salary of Rs. 35,400, along with a mandatory Medical Standard A2.
Selection Process Details
How will the selection be made?
The selection procedure will include a single-stage written examination, specifically a CBT. This will be succeeded by a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), document verification, and a medical examination. Notably, the CBT will focus solely on Mathematics and Reasoning, excluding sections on English or General Studies. The exam will consist of 100 questions to be completed within 120 minutes, with 60 marks allocated for Analytical and Mathematics, 20 marks for Logical Capability, and 20 marks for Mental Reasoning. Candidates who pass the CBT will have eight times the number of vacancies shortlisted for the CBAT. Those preparing for this exam should concentrate on Mathematics and Reasoning.

The Railway Recruitment Board has issued a brief notification regarding the recruitment of 22,000 Group D positions.
