Punjab Police Recruitment Announcement



The Punjab Police has initiated a significant recruitment campaign aimed at filling more than 3,000 constable roles. Successful applicants will be assigned to either the District Police Cadre or the Armed Police Cadre. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Requirements


To qualify for this recruitment, applicants must have completed their 12th grade from a recognized educational institution. For ex-servicemen, the minimum educational requirement is the 10th grade. Additionally, candidates must have passed the 10th grade with Punjabi as a subject or an equivalent examination in the Punjabi language.


Age Limit


The age of candidates must be between 18 and 28 years as of January 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories in accordance with government policies.

Selection Process

Recruitment Stages


The selection process will consist of a written examination followed by a physical test. Exam Structure


Candidates who successfully pass the written exam will be invited to participate in a Physical Standard Test (PST). This test will include running, long jump, high jump, and height measurement. Those who excel in all stages will be included in the final selection list.
