ONGC Vacancy 2026: The ONGC Energy Centre has announced recruitment for multiple roles in 2026, including Junior Project Associate, Senior Project Fellow, and Project Associate. A total of 5 positions are available, and interested applicants can submit their applications via email by May 25, 2026.


Eligibility Criteria

Who is eligible to apply?


For the Junior Project Associate (Geologist) role, candidates must possess an M.Tech or B.Tech/M.A Sc degree in Geology, Geophysics, or a related field, with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Those with an M.Tech degree need 2 years of relevant experience, while B.Tech/M.A Sc degree holders require 4 years of experience in the energy sector or related fields.


For the Senior Researcher (Geologist) position, candidates should have an M.Sc or M.Tech degree in Geology or a similar discipline, along with at least 2 years of experience in mineral or oil/gas exploration, laboratory testing, or geological fieldwork.


For the Project Associate (Biotechnology) role, candidates must hold an M.Tech, B.Tech, or M.Sc degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology, with a specialization in the energy sector. M.Tech degree holders need 4 years of experience, while B.Tech/M.Sc degree holders require 6 years in the bio-energy sector.


For the Junior Project Associate (Geothermal) position, candidates must have an M.Tech, B.Tech, or M.Sc degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. M.Tech degree holders need 2 years of experience, while B.Tech/M.Sc degree holders require 4 years in the energy sector and fieldwork.
