Eligibility Criteria
The recruitment is open to candidates who have completed their 10th grade, ITI certificate, diploma, or are graduates. However, educational qualifications differ by trade, so it is crucial to review the specific eligibility criteria in the official notification before applying.
As of November 29, 2026, applicants must be aged between 18 and 24 years. Age relaxation is available: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 to 15 years for candidates with disabilities (PwD), as per regulations. Additionally, candidates must either reside in the eligible district or have completed their education there.
Stipend Information
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend ranging from ₹8,200 to ₹12,300, based on their trade and educational background. The training period for all trades will last for 12 months. Candidates who have previously completed an apprenticeship or have one year or more of work experience are not eligible to apply.
Selection Process
There will be no written test for the ONGC apprenticeship recruitment. A merit list will be created based on the candidates' educational qualifications, followed by a document verification process. In cases where candidates have identical scores, preference will be given to the older candidate. The recruitment results are expected to be announced on December 15, 2026.
