ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Overview
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has opened applications for apprenticeship training in various technical and non-technical fields. A total of 2,623 vacancies are available across multiple work centers in the Northern, Western, Eastern, Southern, and Central regions of India.
Training Opportunities
Selected candidates will undergo practical training in various trades, including electrician, fitter, computer operator, mechanical, civil, electronics, and more. The application period runs from October 16, 2025, to November 6, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
Who is Eligible to Apply?
Eligibility varies by trade. Candidates must possess a relevant ITI certificate for ITI trades. A 3-year engineering diploma is required for diploma trades, while a bachelor's degree in a relevant field is necessary for graduate trades.

- General Category: 18 to 24 years
- SC/ST: 18 to 29 years
- OBC (non-creamy layer): 18 to 27 years

Selection Process
Selection Criteria:
Candidates will be chosen based on their scores in qualifying exams. In cases of tied scores, preference will be given to the older candidate. The Government of India's reservation policy for SC, ST, OBC, and differently-abled candidates will be applicable.
