During a media briefing, BSE chairperson Shrikanta Tarai revealed that a total of 561,979 students have registered for the exams. The distribution of question papers is set to begin on Tuesday, with 322 nodal centers established for secure storage.

To uphold transparency and deter any form of malpractice, all examination centers will be equipped with CCTV surveillance. The entire examination process will be overseen from the Board’s command and control room, according to Tarai.

The State Open School Certificate Examination is scheduled to span 11 days, running from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Approximately 5.61 lakh students will participate across the 3,082 centers. Monitoring will be enhanced through live CCTV feeds and QR-coded question papers.

Special arrangements for monitoring have been implemented in five remote districts: Malkangiri, Koraput, Kalahandi, Jharsuguda, and Sundargarh, utilizing live CCTV feeds transmitted via a secure network.

Each question paper will feature watermarks and QR codes on every page to facilitate tracking. Examination centers have been strategically located within a distance of 3 to 10 kilometers for the convenience of students.

Officials emphasized that these measures are designed to ensure a seamless, transparent, and malpractice-free Matric examination experience across Odisha.
