NTPC Mining Limited Recruitment Notification



NTPC Mining Limited has announced a recruitment drive for the roles of Executive and Assistant Mine Surveyor. Aspiring candidates can apply for these positions by visiting the official NTPC website. A total of 21 positions are available through this recruitment process. The online application window will open on October 27th and will remain active until November 15, 2025.


Age Criteria

The age requirements for the various positions are as follows:



  • Executive (Finance): Maximum age of 30 years

  • Executive (Environmental Management): Maximum age of 35 years

  • Assistant Mine Surveyor: Maximum age of 40 years


Candidates belonging to OBC will receive a 3-year age relaxation, while SC and ST candidates will benefit from a 5-year relaxation. Additionally, candidates with disabilities will be granted a 10-year age extension.


Salary Details

Selected candidates for the Executive (Finance) and Executive (Environmental Management) roles will earn a monthly salary of ₹71,000. Those appointed as Assistant Mine Surveyor will receive ₹60,000 per month.


Educational Requirements

Candidates applying for the Executive (Finance) position must possess a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution along with a CA or CMA qualification.


For the Executive (Environmental Management) role, a bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 60% marks in an environmental subject is required.


Applicants for the Assistant Mine Surveyor position should hold a diploma in mine surveying, mining, or civil engineering.


Selection Process

The selection will involve a Computer-Based Test (CBT) divided into two parts:



  • Paper-1: 80 subject-specific questions

  • Paper-2: 40 multiple-choice questions covering General Awareness, Reasoning, and Data Interpretation


The total duration of the exam is two hours, and there will be a negative marking of one-quarter of the marks for incorrect answers.
