Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the NTA recruitment, candidates must be registered on the UPSC 'Pratibha Setu' portal. The specific eligibility requirements for each position are as follows:
- Academic Research: Candidates should have appeared for the UPSC Civil Services Examination and preferably hold a postgraduate degree in a relevant field. A PhD or teaching experience is advantageous.
- Legal Research: Candidates must have chosen Law as an optional subject in the Civil Services Examination and possess an LLM degree from a recognized institution. Experience in legal research or court matters is preferred.
- Finance and Accounts: Candidates should have a postgraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, or Finance and must have appeared for the UPSC examination. Professionals with CA, CMA, or CS qualifications are also eligible.
Additionally, candidates must meet the age requirements set forth by the UPSC 'Pratibha Setu' scheme.
Salary and Job Duration
Compensation:
Upon selection, candidates will receive a fixed monthly honorarium of ₹80,000.
Contract Duration:
This position is contract-based, initially for 24 months (2 years), with a possibility of extension for an additional 12 months based on performance.
Work Schedule:
This role requires a 5-day work week, with 8 days of leave per year (on a pro-rata basis).
