NCL Assistant Foreman Recruitment 2026

Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited and recognized as a Miniratna PSU, has initiated the application process for the recruitment of Assistant Foreman (Trainee) Grade-C. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 270 vacancies. Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply online through NCL's official website, nclcil.in. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed their 10th grade (Matriculation) from a recognized board and possess a minimum of a 3-year diploma in electrical, mechanical, or electronics/telecommunications. Those with higher qualifications, such as B.E./B.Tech, are also eligible to apply.

Applicants should be between 18 and 30 years old as of March 5, 2026. Age relaxation is applicable: 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC/NCL candidates, in accordance with government regulations.

Salary Details
The selected candidates will receive a monthly basic salary of ₹47,330.25. Additionally, they will be entitled to dearness allowance (DA), house rent allowance (HRA), attendance bonuses, and other government benefits.

The training duration for E&T trades is set at 1 year, while the training for mechanical and electrical trades will last for 2 years.

Application Fee
Candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹1,180 (₹1,000 application fee + ₹180 GST). However, SC, ST, PwBD, and ex-servicemen candidates are exempt from this fee.
