NMC MBBS PwBD Quota: Exciting news has emerged for students aiming for MBBS admission under the Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) quota. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has confirmed that students cannot be denied admission solely based on having a temporary disability certificate or a temporary UDID card. However, a medical board will evaluate their condition to determine final eligibility.

Reason for New Guidelines:
The NMC introduced this clarification while revising the guidelines for assessing disabled students for MBBS admissions in 2026.
