Scientist-D: 12 Positions
Scientist-C: 141 Positions
**Salary Range:**
Scientist-D: Pay Level 12 (₹78,800 to ₹2,09,200)
Scientist-C: Pay Level 11 (₹67,700 to ₹2,08,700)
Reservation policies for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC—Non-Creamy Layer), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) are in place as per government guidelines. Additionally, 6 positions are reserved for candidates with disabilities.
Eligibility Criteria
**Qualifications and Experience Required**
Candidates must hold a degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related scientific field.
**Acceptable Qualifications:**
B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, M.Sc, MCA, M.Phil, or equivalent qualifications such as DOEACC ‘B’ Level and AMIE.
**Relevant Subject Areas:** Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Cyber Security, Data Communication, Software Engineering, GIS, Mathematics, Statistics, Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineering.
**Experience Requirements:**
Scientist-C: At least 4 years
Scientist-D: At least 8 years
A Ph.D. is preferred for the Scientist-D position. Candidates with M.Tech, M.E., or M.Phil degrees will receive a two-year relaxation in the experience requirement.
