UPSC Announces New Government Job Vacancies



Latest Job Notification from UPSC: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification for multiple job openings, presenting a significant opportunity for those seeking government employment. The available positions include Lecturer (Urdu), Medical Officer, Additional Government Advocate, Assistant Legal Advisor, Accounts Officer, and Assistant Director. The application window opened on September 13, 2025, and will close on October 2, 2025. Candidates can print their application forms until October 3, 2025.


A total of 213 vacancies are being filled, with 125 positions designated for Medical Officers, making it the largest category. Other roles include 15 for Lecturers (Urdu), 5 for Additional Government Advocates, 16 for Assistant Legal Advisors, and 32 for Accounts Officers. Interested applicants can submit their applications through the UPSC's official website, upsc.gov.in.


Educational Requirements:
Applicants must possess an LLB degree from an accredited institution for legal roles. For lecturer positions, a postgraduate degree and a B.Ed. are necessary. Medical Officer candidates should hold an MBBS degree, while other roles require either a bachelor's or master's degree.


Age Criteria:
The age limits differ based on the category. General category candidates can apply until the age of 50, while OBC candidates have a limit of 53 years, and SC/ST candidates can apply until 55 years. Candidates with disabilities (PwBD) can apply until the age of 56.


Application Fees:
General category applicants are required to pay a fee of ₹25. However, women, SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates are exempt from any application fees.
