Overview of NEET UG 2026 Counselling



The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the timeline for the NEET UG counselling for the year 2026. Registration for MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. (Nursing), and other programs under the All India Quota (AIQ), as well as for Deemed and Central Universities, will start on August 4. The counselling process will unfold over four rounds, with the academic year set to commence on September 8, 2026.

Required Documents for Counselling

Candidates must prepare the following documents to participate in the counselling process:



  • NEET scorecard

  • NEET exam admit card

  • 10th-grade certificate and mark sheet

  • 12th-grade certificate and mark sheet

  • ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN card/Driving License/Passport)

  • Eight passport-size photographs

  • Provisional allotment letter

  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

  • Residence certificate

  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
