NCISM Recruitment for Six Member Positions Under AYUSH Ministry

The National Commission for Indian Systems of Medicine (NCISM), operating under the Ministry of AYUSH, has opened applications for six Member roles. Interested and qualified individuals can submit their applications online until March 30th.
This is a significant opportunity for those seeking government employment, as the NCISM has released a notification for the recruitment of Members (ISM). The recruitment aims to fill a total of six positions, with three dedicated to the Medical Assessment and Rating Board and the other three for the Ethics and Registration Board.
Among the six roles, three are specifically reserved for specialists in Ayurveda, while the remaining three are available to candidates with qualifications in any Indian system of medicine. The appointed members will be responsible for overseeing the quality and standards of educational institutions.
Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in a relevant field related to the Indian system of medicine from an accredited university. Additionally, they should be registered with the State Medical Council, Central Council, or NCISM.
Candidates are required to have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the medical sector, with at least 7 years dedicated to health or educational development within the Indian system of medicine.
The upper age limit for applicants is set at 64 years, calculated as of March 30, 2026. Those exceeding this age will not be eligible to apply.
The application process is conducted offline.
