Introduction to the Task Force

In a significant move, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has established a high-level task force consisting of six prominent members, led by Nandan Nilekani, co-founder of Infosys. This initiative aims to propose reforms that will enhance the integrity of the examination system in India.

Task Force Members

1. Nandan Nilekani

As the co-founder and chairman of Infosys, Nilekani is recognized for his pivotal role in the Aadhaar digital identity initiative and the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), which have been instrumental in advancing India's digital infrastructure. His leadership will focus on integrating advanced technology to bolster examination security and efficiency.

2. S Somnath

A renowned space scientist, Somnath holds a PhD from IIT Madras and has previously chaired ISRO. His expertise in large-scale technology systems will be invaluable to the task force.

3. Tapan Deka

An IPS officer from the 1988 batch, Deka has extensive experience in intelligence operations, including counter-terrorism. His role will involve enhancing the security measures throughout the examination process.

4. Anita Karwal

With over 36 years in public administration, Karwal has served as the CBSE chairman and has been influential in shaping educational policies. Her insights will guide the task force in educational reforms.

5. V Kamakoti

Currently the director of IIT Madras, Kamakoti is known for his contributions to microprocessor development. His technical expertise will support the task force's objectives.

6. Amrit Lal Meena

A seasoned IAS officer, Meena brings over 36 years of administrative experience. His logistical knowledge will aid in the effective implementation of the task force's recommendations.
