Madhya Pradesh to Recruit Over 5,500 Officers Soon

In Madhya Pradesh, there are plans to fill more than 5,500 officer positions. The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has announced the recruitment for 5,562 posts, with advertisements already released and the recruitment process underway. The available positions include roles for medical experts, professors, and various posts in Unani and Ayurvedic medicine. Notably, in the past 18 months, the commission has already filled 3,756 positions.
Recent Developments in State Service Examinations
Following the conduct of three state service examinations, the results have been published. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the pace of appointments through the PSC has significantly increased. During this period, recommendations have been made for 72 Deputy Collector and 51 Sub-Inspector positions in the administration and home department.
Details on Job Advertisements
Since December 2023, a total of 75 advertisements have been issued, covering 4,492 positions for which recommendation letters have been sent for 3,756 candidates. The Public Service Commission has released 81 recruitment advertisements, with plans to fill 5,562 positions in the coming months. Additionally, there are 61 recruitment processes in progress for 5,317 positions.
Results and Changes in Recruitment
The Madhya Pradesh government and the High Court have released results for 87% of the advertised positions. This action is being taken due to issues surrounding OBC reservations. In the last 18 months, the MPPSC has announced final selection results for 1,109 positions from the state service examinations of 2019, 2021, and 2022, as well as 200 positions from three state forest service exams, which had been delayed significantly.
