Salary Structure

Salary Details
The pay scale for Subedar (Ministerial) ranges from ₹36,200 to ₹1,14,800.

The pay scale for Assistant Sub-Inspector (Ministerial) ranges from ₹19,500 to ₹62,000.

Selected candidates will be subject to the prescribed contributory pension scheme.

Selection Process

Stages of Recruitment
The selection process will include a computer-based written examination followed by a skill test. The final merit list will incorporate scores from both the written exam and the skill test.

First Stage: Written Examination
The written exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, totaling 100 marks, with a two-hour time limit. There will be no negative marking.

Second Stage: Skill Test
After the written exam, candidates numbering seven times the available vacancies (based on post and category) will be invited for the skill test, which will also carry 100 marks. A minimum of 30 percent marks is required to pass this section.

For Subedar (Stenographer)
Two Hindi shorthand examinations will be conducted, each involving a five-minute dictation at a speed of 100 words per minute. The dictation is worth 20 marks, while transcription (writing/typing) is worth 80 marks.

For Assistant Sub-Inspector
A Hindi typing examination will require candidates to type two passages of 600 words each, with 30 minutes allocated for each passage.
