MPESB Police Constable Recruitment 2025 Overview



Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPESB) has initiated the application process for filling 7500 constable positions within the state police department, starting from September 15, 2025. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official website esb.mp.gov.in.


The deadline for application submission is September 29, 2025. Additionally, candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections to their application forms from September 15 to October 4, 2025.


Exam Details

Written Examination Date: The written exam is scheduled for October 30, 2025. It will be conducted in two shifts: the first from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and the second from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Candidates are advised to arrive at their respective examination centers by 8:30 AM for the morning shift and 1:30 PM for the afternoon shift. A 10-minute reading time will be provided before the exam begins.


Exam Centers: The written examination will take place in 11 major cities across the state, including Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Khandwa, Neemuch, Rewa, Ratlam, Sagar, Satna, Sidhi, and Ujjain.


Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications: Candidates from the general category must have completed their 10th or 12th grade from a recognized institution. For Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, the minimum requirement is passing the 8th grade or an equivalent examination. It is crucial for applicants to review the official notification for detailed eligibility criteria.


Age Requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not older than 33 years. Age relaxation is available for candidates belonging to reserved categories. The age will be calculated as of September 29, 2025.


Application Fees

The application fee is set at Rs 500 for general category candidates. For SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates, the fee is Rs 250. Candidates with disabilities from Madhya Pradesh will pay Rs 200, while SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates appearing for departmental examinations will be charged Rs 100.
