Outstanding Performance by Lucknow University Students

Students from Lucknow University (LU) have achieved remarkable results in the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) for the June cycle. According to information shared by the university spokesperson, Professor Mukul Srivastava, a total of 102 students from various faculties and departments successfully passed this prestigious examination. Among them, 16 students secured the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), while 86 qualified for the Assistant Professor eligibility.

Top Performers in Hindi and Education Departments

Department-wise statistics reveal that the Hindi and Modern Indian Languages department excelled, with 4 students obtaining JRF and 15 passing the NET exam. Following closely, the Education Department had 2 JRF and 14 NET qualifiers, while the Economics department saw 4 JRF and 9 NET passers, and the Social Work department had 1 JRF and 9 NET successful candidates.

Impressive Contributions from Various Departments

Additionally, the Medieval and Modern History department contributed 9 NET qualifiers, Statistics had 5, Library Science produced 1 JRF and 4 NET passers, and the Journalism department saw 4 students succeed. Students from subjects such as Law, Philosophy, Ancient Indian History (AIH), Yoga, Computer Science, Urdu, and Persian also performed exceptionally well in both JRF and NET.
