The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has finalized the Tier 1 examination for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2025 recruitment and has shared crucial updates regarding the CGL answer key, the forthcoming CHSL exam, and other significant recruitment announcements.

Details on SSC CGL 2025 Exam

The CGL Tier 1 exam was conducted successfully nationwide, with approximately 13.5 lakh candidates participating out of 28 lakh applicants. However, a fire incident at one examination center in Mumbai led to some disruptions. The SSC has confirmed that a re-examination for those affected will take place on 14 October 2025.


During the exam, the SSC identified several instances of malpractice, where candidates attempted to exploit the scribe facility using fraudulent documents.


Consequences of Malpractice

Candidates found with clear evidence of cheating have been disqualified.


Those with inconclusive evidence will be permitted to take the re-exam on 14 October 2025.

Expected Release Date for SSC CGL 2025 Answer Key

The SSC has announced that the CGL Tier 1 answer key is anticipated to be released around 15 October 2025, along with a period for raising objections. Candidates will have the opportunity to review their response sheets and contest any discrepancies within the designated timeframe.

Schedule for SSC CHSL 2025 Exam
