Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the GDS positions, applicants must have completed their Class 10th education from a recognized institution in India. Furthermore, they should have secured passing grades in both Mathematics and English during their Class 10th examinations.


Candidates must be aged between 18 and 40 years. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates from reserved categories: SC and ST candidates receive a five-year extension, while OBC candidates are granted a ten-year extension. Additionally, candidates with disabilities are also eligible for a ten-year age relaxation.

For the GDS application, General and OBC candidates are required to pay a registration fee of ₹100. However, SC, ST, and PwD candidates are exempt from this fee.
