Application Deadline Approaches for Delhi Police Recruitment


The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to close the online application process today, October 15, for the recruitment of Head Constable (Assistant Wireless Operator/Tele-Printer Operator) and Constable (Driver) positions in the Delhi Police for the year 2025. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in. Additionally, the correction window for online applications will be available from October 23 to 25, 2025.


The computer-based examination is tentatively scheduled for December 2025 or January 2026. This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 1,289 vacancies, which includes 370 positions for Male Head Constables (AWO/TPO), 182 for Female Head Constables (AWO/TPO), and 737 for Constable Drivers.


Application Fee Details


Applicants are required to pay a fee of Rs 100. However, women candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempt from this fee.
