Delhi Police Recruitment 2025: Final Application Reminder
The deadline for submitting applications for the 2025 recruitment of Constable Driver (Male) and Head Constable in Delhi Police is tomorrow. This recruitment drive offers 737 positions for Constable Drivers and 552 for Head Constables (Assistant Wireless Operator/Teleprinter Operator). Applicants must ensure their fees are paid by 11 PM on October 16th. Following this, there will be a window for correcting any application errors and amending fees from October 23rd to 25th.
The initial phase of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) is anticipated to take place in December 2025 or January 2026. Interested candidates can apply online via the SSC website, ssc.gov.in. The application fee is set at ₹100, while women and SC/ST candidates can apply without any charge.
Important Exam Details:
This year's examination will implement negative marking, deducting 0.25 marks for incorrect answers in the written test for Head Constable recruitment. Notably, the previous recruitment in 2022 did not include negative marking.

To qualify for the Constable Driver role, candidates must have completed their 12th grade and possess a heavy vehicle driving license.
The age criteria for applicants range from 18 to 30 years. OBC candidates are eligible for a three-year age relaxation, while SC/ST candidates can avail a five-year relaxation.
Head Constable Recruitment Requirements:
Candidates must have completed 12th grade with a focus on Science (PCM) and hold a National Trade Certificate in Mechanic cum Operator Electronic Communication Systems. Proficiency in computer operations is also necessary. The age limit for this position is 18 to 27 years, with OBC and ex-servicemen receiving a three-year relaxation, and SC/ST candidates a five-year relaxation.
