Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply? The educational qualifications required vary by position:



  • Health Supervisor / Multi-Purpose Health Worker: 10+2 (Science)

  • Junior Regional Investigator: Intermediate (with Mathematics)

  • Veterinary/Medical Assistant, Insect Collector, and Fisheries Technical Assistant: 10+2 (with Biology)


All candidates must meet the eligibility criteria by the application deadline.


Age Limit

Age Requirements: The maximum age limit varies based on the category:



  • General and EWS: 35 years

  • OBC (Male): 37 years

  • Women (General/EWS/OBC): 38 years

  • SC/ST: 40 years


Differently-abled candidates are eligible for a 10-year age relaxation, while ex-servicemen can avail of a 5-year relaxation.


Salary Structure

Salary Details: All positions fall under Pay Band PB-I (₹5,200–20,200), with Grade Pay ranging from ₹1,800 to ₹2,400, depending on the specific role.


Selection Process

Selection Method: If applications exceed 50,000, a preliminary examination will be conducted, followed by a main examination. The final merit list will be based on the normalized scores from the main examination.


The examination will be conducted in either CBT or OMR mode, with scoring as follows:



  • 3 marks for each correct answer

  • 1 mark deducted for each incorrect answer
