The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has officially announced the recruitment for Warders in 2025. Aspiring candidates can submit their applications online by visiting the commission's official site. The application window opens on November 7, 2025.

Candidates are required to pay the application fee and upload necessary documents by midnight on December 10. Additionally, there will be a correction window for the application form from December 11 to December 13. It is recommended that candidates apply early and not wait until the last moment.

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

What are the eligibility criteria?

To qualify for this recruitment, candidates must have completed at least the 10th grade. The age requirements are as follows: a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age of 25 years. Age relaxations apply for various categories: 3 years for Unreserved and EWS (female) candidates, and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Physical Eligibility Requirements

This recruitment cycle has updated the physical eligibility standards. Male candidates from Unreserved, EWS, and Extremely Backward Classes must meet a minimum height of 160 cm and a chest measurement of 81 cm. For SC/ST candidates, the height requirement is 155 cm with a chest girth of 79 cm. Female candidates must have a minimum height of 148 cm. The physical test has also been revised: male candidates are required to complete a 1600-meter run in 6 minutes, while female candidates must finish the same distance in 10 minutes.
