Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy SSR Medical Recruitment

Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) stream. Additionally, a minimum of 40% marks in each subject is required. The age criteria remain the same as mentioned above. Selection Process for SSR Medical Branch

Stage I: The Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) will consist of 100 objective-type questions, with each question worth 1 mark. The exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English, covering four sections: English, Science, Biology, and General Awareness. Candidates will have one hour to complete the test.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Candidates who pass Stage I will be invited to take the PFT, which includes a 1.6 km run to be completed in 6 minutes and 30 seconds, along with 20 squats, 15 push-ups, and 15 sit-ups.

Stage II: Only those who clear the PFT will proceed to Stage II, which will also consist of 100 questions from the same four subjects.

7. Upload a passport-sized photograph (10 KB to 50 KB) and your signature, along with any other necessary documents.

Application Fee and Important Dates

Candidates from General, OBC, EWS, SC, and ST categories must pay an application fee of ₹550/-. This can be done through online payment methods. If any errors are found in the application after submission, corrections can be made until April 10–11, 2026. The INET Stage I examination is scheduled for May 2026.
