The MBA program is offered through the Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME), which emphasizes a strong connection between management education and real-world industry practices.

Application Process for MBA 2026-28

The application process for the JNU MBA program is fully online. Interested candidates should visit the official JNU website to register. After registration, candidates must log in using their application number and password to complete and submit the application form. The application will only be considered complete once the required fee is paid online.


Application Fee Structure

The application fee varies by candidate category: General, OBC, and EWS candidates must pay ₹2,000, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates are required to pay ₹1,000.


Required Documents for Application

Applicants must upload scanned copies of several essential documents, including a passport-sized photo, a scanned signature, Class 10th and 12th mark sheets, graduation mark sheets, and the CAT 2025 scorecard. International candidates can submit a GMAT score as an alternative.


Selection Criteria and Weightage

The selection process for the JNU MBA program is merit-based. The CAT score will account for 70% of the selection criteria, while the Group Discussion (GD) will contribute 10%, and the Personal Interview (PI) will make up 20%.
