Jammu and Kashmir PSC Announces Medical Officer Recruitment

The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has opened online applications for the recruitment of Medical Officers in both Ayurvedic and Homeopathy disciplines. Interested candidates can submit their applications on the official website jkpsc.nic.in from July 15 to August 4, 2025. Corrections to submitted forms can be made between August 5 and 7, 2025.

The examination is tentatively scheduled for October 19, 2025, with a total of 37 positions available—30 for Medical Officers in Ayurvedic and 7 for Homeopathy.

Eligibility Requirements

Age Limit: Candidates must be under 40 years of age as of January 1, 2025, with relaxations applicable for those in reserved categories.

Educational Qualifications:

Medical Officer (Ayurvedic): A Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM).

Medical Officer (Homeopathy): A Bachelor’s Degree in Homeopathy recognized by the CCIM.

Application Fees

Applicants from the unreserved category must pay a fee of Rs 1200, while those from reserved categories are required to pay Rs 700.
