The Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren, has confirmed the recruitment of 26,000 teachers. This announcement was made on September 16 during a ceremony for distributing appointment letters to newly appointed Graduate Trained Assistant Professors at the Jharkhand Secretariat in Ranchi.

During the event, CM Soren was the chief guest and presented appointment letters to 131 Graduate Trained Assistant Professors specializing in Mathematics and Science, along with 170 Inter-Trained Assistant Professors for Classes 1 to 5 from Godda district. This follows a previous distribution of appointment letters for numerous Assistant Professor roles, with a total of 301 Assistant Professors receiving their letters on that Tuesday.

The Chief Minister emphasized the government's ongoing efforts to enhance the education system in Jharkhand.
