Scholarship for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students:
The Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia has sanctioned the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship, which is designated for students from economically weaker sections (EWS) enrolled in regular undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs at Jamia. It is important to note that students in self-financed courses are not eligible for this scholarship.
Scholarship Details
Preference for Female Students, Annual Amount of Rs. 10,000:
The guidelines for the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship stipulate that female students will receive priority, with 50% of the scholarships allocated to them. Awardees will receive an annual scholarship of Rs. 10,000, which is granted for one year.

Eligibility Requirements:
Students enrolled in UG and PG courses at Jamia Millia Islamia can apply for the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship, provided they maintain a minimum attendance of 75%. Additionally, applicants must have a family income of less than Rs. 2 lakh per year. The DSW office has clarified that each student can receive only one scholarship from the university, although they may be eligible for stipends from other sources. Selected students should promptly contact the Jamia DSW office regarding any stipends.
