ISRO VSSC Recruitment 2025 Overview

ISRO VSSC Recruitment 2025: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has announced openings for various roles at its centers, particularly at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) located in Thiruvananthapuram. The online application process commenced on September 22, 2025, and interested candidates can submit their applications through the official website vssc.gov.in. The last date for application submission is October 6, 2025.

Application Requirements

Educational Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a B.E./B.Tech and an M.E./M.Tech degree from a recognized institution. A minimum of 65% marks in B.E./B.Tech and 60% marks (average across all semesters) in M.E./M.Tech is required. Only candidates who registered for AMIE before May 31, 2013, are eligible to apply.

Age Limit:
The upper age limit is set at 30 years as of October 6, 2025. Candidates must have been born between October 6, 1995, and October 6, 2007. Age relaxation is applicable for serving Central Government employees, ex-servicemen, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) as per Government of India regulations.

Salary and Application Fee

Salary:
Selected candidates for the Scientist/Engineer roles at ISRO VSSC will receive a basic salary ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500, aligned with Pay Level 10. Additional benefits include dearness allowance (DA), house rent allowance (HRA), and transport allowance (TA).

Application Fee:
An application fee of ₹750 is required. Female candidates, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), ex-servicemen, and Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) will receive a full refund upon attending the written examination. Other applicants will be refunded ₹500 after deducting bank charges.
