Eligibility Criteria for ISRO SAC Scientist/Engineer


Candidates applying for Scientist/Engineer 'SD' must hold a postgraduate degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5. Those with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 65% marks or a CGPA of 6.84 are also eligible. Certain positions may consider candidates with a PhD in the relevant field.


For Scientist/Engineer 'SC' roles, candidates should possess a Master's degree or equivalent in Science, with specific minimum marks requirements. All qualifications must be from recognized institutions. Age Limit

Scientist/Engineer 'SD': 18 to 35 years


Scientist/Engineer 'SC' (M.E./M.Tech): 18 to 30 years

Selection Process for ISRO Scientist/Engineer Recruitment


The selection procedure differs based on the position applied for.


For Scientist/Engineer 'SD', candidates will undergo an initial screening followed by an interview for those who qualify.


For Scientist/Engineer 'SC', a computer-based written test will be held, and successful candidates will be invited for a personal interview.


Salary Structure for Scientist/Engineer


The salary for Scientist/Engineer 'SD' positions ranges from Rs. 67,100 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month under Pay Level-11. For Scientist/Engineer 'SC', the salary is between Rs. 56,100 and Rs. 1,77,500 per month under Pay Level-10. Additional allowances and benefits will be provided as per ISRO regulations.
