ISRO Recruitment 2026: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has opened applications for various roles. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply promptly. The recruitment is specifically for the position of Scientist/Engineer 'SC' in the fields of Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science. The ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB) is overseeing the recruitment process.

Eligible applicants can submit their applications online from August 27 to September 16, 2026. A total of 175 positions are available across ISRO centers and the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL). This includes 99 roles in Electronics, 52 in Mechanical, and 21 in Computer Science, along with one vacancy each for Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science at PRL. It is important to note that these vacancies are provisional, and ISRO retains the authority to adjust the numbers as needed.

Applications must be submitted exclusively through the online platform. Candidates should visit the ISRO website (www.isro.gov.in) to complete their registration. Those who are registered on the National Career Services (NCS) portal and meet the eligibility criteria can apply by following the outlined procedure. After registration, candidates will receive an online registration number, which should be kept safe. Hall tickets for the written examination/CBT and interview notifications will be sent to the registered email address of the applicants.

Application Fee

An application fee of ₹250 is required during the application process. Additionally, all candidates must pay an initial processing fee of ₹750. Payments can be made online through the Bharatkosh e-Payment gateway. The final date for submitting applications and fee payments is September 16, 2026.

Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempt from the application fee. However, if they take part in the written examination/CBT, the processing fee will be fully refunded.
