Great news for aspiring candidates looking to join the Indian Coast Guard! The organization has announced the recruitment notification for various positions, including Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch), Yantrik, and Hygienist-I for CGEPT Batch 1/2027 and 02/2027. Interested individuals can apply online until October 21, 2026.


Eligibility Criteria for Various Posts

Eligibility requirements differ based on the position:


1. Navik (General Duty): Candidates must have completed Class 12 with Mathematics and Physics from a board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).


2. Navik (Domestic Branch): A minimum of Class 10 completion from a COBSE-recognized board is required.


3. Hygienist-I: Applicants should have passed Matriculation or possess an ITI certificate or equivalent qualification from a recognized education board.


4. Yantrik: Candidates must have completed Class 10 from a COBSE-recognized board and hold a 3 or 4-year diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering approved by AICTE; alternatively, they can have completed Classes 10 and 12 and hold a 2 or 3-year diploma in the same fields.


Age Limit for Applicants

Age requirements are as follows:


For Navik positions, candidates should be born between November 1, 2005 (or May 1, 2005) and May 1, 2009. For Hygienist-I, the birth date must be between November 1, 2005, and October 1, 2009. For Yantrik, candidates should have been born between November 1, 2002, and October 1, 2009. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories as per regulations.
