Training Details

Pre-Commission Training
Selected candidates for TGC 145 will undergo a year-long pre-commission training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun. During this period, they will receive a monthly stipend of ₹56,400. Upon successful completion of the training, candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenants and will receive one year of ante-date seniority for salary and promotion purposes.

Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply?
Applicants for the Technical Graduate Course must possess a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in an engineering discipline, or a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science. Final-year engineering students who have not yet completed their examinations are also eligible, provided they submit proof of passing along with their semester marksheets.

SSB Interview Process

How the SSB Interview is Conducted
The SSB interview for TGC lasts five days, starting with screening on the first day, followed by psychological tests on the second day, GTO tasks and interviews on the third and fourth days, and concluding with a conference on the fifth day. As TGC is a technical entry scheme, candidates should expect questions related to the fundamental concepts of their engineering discipline during the interview. However, the assessment will also focus on personality traits and Officer-Like Qualities (OLQs).
