Indian Army Announces Recruitment for Group C Posts

The Indian Army has released a notification inviting applications for 194 Group C vacancies. This recruitment is open to individuals who have completed their 10th, 12th, or possess an ITI qualification, with applications accepted exclusively through offline methods.

This recruitment drive presents a significant opportunity for those aspiring to serve in the Indian Army and begin their careers in this esteemed institution.

Eligibility criteria include having passed the 10th or 12th grade from a recognized educational board. Additionally, candidates with an ITI qualification are also eligible to apply. Physical fitness is a crucial requirement for applicants.

Candidates must meet specific physical standards: a minimum height of 165 cm, a weight of at least 50 kg, and a chest measurement of 81.5 cm, as per the stringent regulations set by the Army.

Applicants should be aged between 18 and 25 years. However, there are provisions for age relaxation for candidates belonging to certain categories: SC and ST candidates receive a 5-year extension, OBC candidates get a 3-year extension, and disabled candidates are allowed a 10-year extension.
