The Indian Army has revealed that there are 70 openings available for the 124th Course (October 2026) under the NCC Special Entry Scheme. The selection will be based on the grading of the NCC 'C' certificate and the candidates' graduation marks, followed by an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB). Eligibility Criteria for NCC Special Entry 124th Course

Eligibility Requirements:


1. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, with a minimum aggregate of 50%.


2. A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in the NCC Senior Division/Wing is required, along with at least a 'B' grade in the 'C' Certificate examination.


3. For this recruitment, a bachelor's degree is mandatory, but an NCC 'C' certificate is not necessary for some candidates.


4. Applicants must be aged between 19 and 25 years, meaning they should not have been born before July 2, 2001, or after July 1, 2007 (both dates included).


Vacancies and Stipend Details

A total of 70 positions are open under the Indian Army's NCC Special Entry 124th Course, which includes 63 for NCC men (general category) and 7 for dependents of battle casualties. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹56,100 during their training.

Recruitment Timeline:


The recruitment process will take place in April-May 2026. Initially, applications will be collected, followed by a shortlisting phase. Those shortlisted will be invited for the SSB interview. Candidates who pass the SSB will then undergo a medical examination. Upon completion of the entire process, a merit list will be published, and successful candidates will receive their joining letters.
