Next Steps After Result Declaration

What follows the result?

Being listed in the CEE results does not ensure final selection. Candidates must successfully complete additional stages of the recruitment process, which include:

  1. Physical Fitness Test (PFT): This involves physical assessments such as a 1.6 km run, pull-ups, push-ups, and sit-ups.

  2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates' height, weight, and chest measurements will be evaluated against set standards.

  3. Document Verification: Verification of academic certificates, identity proofs, and other necessary documents will take place.

  4. Medical Examination: A comprehensive medical check-up will assess the candidate's health and physical fitness.

  5. Adaptability Test: Additional tests may be required for specific positions as per recruitment guidelines.

Scoring in the Physical Fitness Test

How are marks allocated in the PFT?

The Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is a vital component of the Agniveer recruitment process. Marks are awarded based on the completion time of the 1.6-kilometer run. The scoring system is as follows:

  • 60 marks for completing the run in 5 minutes 30 seconds.

  • 48 marks for finishing between 5 minutes 31 seconds and 5 minutes 45 seconds.

  • 36 marks for a completion time of 5 minutes 46 seconds to 6 minutes.

  • 24 marks for finishing between 6 minutes 1 second and 6 minutes 15 seconds.

Additionally, candidates can earn 40 marks for completing 10 pull-ups. The 9-foot long jump and zig-zag balance test are qualifying events, meaning candidates must pass them, but no extra marks will be awarded.
