The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the city slip for the CGL Tier-I 2025 examination. Candidates can access their exam city details by visiting the official SSC website. The admit card will be available for download shortly before the exam date. This year, over 28 lakh candidates are expected to participate in the examination.

The SSC CGL Tier-I 2025 exam is scheduled to take place from September 12 to September 26, 2025. A total of 28,14,604 candidates will be taking this online examination, which will be conducted at 260 centers nationwide.

Exam City Allocation Information

The examination will be held in 129 different cities. Notably, 93% of candidates have been assigned to their first, second, or third preferred exam centers. Those who could not secure their preferred locations have been allocated centers in nearby cities, with an average distance of approximately 168 kilometers from their registered addresses.

Admit Card and Exam Regulations

Candidates can download their admit cards from the regional SSC website. It is crucial to note that entry to the examination hall will not be permitted without a valid admit card. Additionally, candidates must present a valid photo ID during the exam.
